Dr. Marvin Howell
Dr. Marvin Howell O.D.
Dr. Howell graduated from the Illinois college of Optometry in 2008.
While attending ICO he was the president of the National Optometric Student Association, and class representative of the American Academy of Optometry Student Association. In 2007 he went on a mission trip to Honduras to provided eye exams and glasses and diagnose and treat glaucoma, cataracts and various other eye diseases. Dr. Howell has done clinical externships at the Canton VA in Ohio, Midwest Physicians Center and Daytona eye care center treating patients with diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma. At the Illinois Eye Institute he treated low vision and pediatric cases. During his externships, he received several clinical honors. In his spare time he enjoys watching and participating in sports, and spending time with family.

Dr Bell joined Metropolitan Eyecare Oct. of 2009. She has been practicing for 10 years. She has been an exciting addition to our ST John location. Metropolitan invites you to come in and meet Dr Bell. You’ll soon see why we and all our patients are happy to have her with us.
